Government Relations and Grants Consulting
Where a general security evaluation may fail to account for certain factors and specific variables, our mastery of a broad spectrum of security disciplines and the meticulous attention to detail we apply to every project distinguish us from the competition.

1.Unlike most security providers, who address individual problems as they occur and who apply after-the-fact corrective measures, our experience in all fields of security enables us to accurately anticipate threats, predict outcomes, and establish preventive procedures to minimize future risks. Using proprietary technology, our consultants conduct detailed security audits and develop a comprehensive security plan as follows:
We identify existing vulnerabilities within security systems, hiring, training and managing policy, construction and physical plan safety, communications integrity, confidential data safekeeping, contingency planning, and other
security related matters.2. We assess the risk from natural hazards, accidents, business interruptions, and criminal acts, including workplace violence, economic espionage, dishonest employees, sabotage, and terrorism.
3. We calculate the probability of occurrence and quantification of loss potential.
At the conclusion of the information gathering and analysis phase, a report is presented containing the following findings and initial recommendations:
1. A comparison of cost of prevention versus cost of anticipated loss, and recommendations for controlling, preventing, or transferring risk as required.
2. A carefully appraised listing of unit prices for labor and materials that can serve as the basis for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).
3. A presentation of client-specific risk mitigation strategies and cost-and-benefit options in a cohesive Operational Risk Management (ORM)
format, as used by the U.S. military.
4. An accurate profile of current and future resource requirements. This is particularly important in view of the fiduciary responsibilities and obligations of directors and corporate officers to corporate shareholders.
We work confidentially with, and coach, senior management to assist with implementation.

The value of our skills and expertise is a quantifiable matter that can be measured against a competitor in a bid for work. But perhaps the most valuable asset we alone bring to a client is something that is not quantifiable, and cannot be measured.
Through our evolution and our working with some of the greatest corporations of our time, we have developed leadership competence and insightful governance that we bring to every project undertaken.
If allowed, we can carry the responsibility for ensuring that technology, culture, and staff are in security sync, and all are harnessed to achieve optimal performance.
Government Relations and Grants Consulting
There are approximately 250,000 religious congregations, consisting of about 138 million members, in the United States. Members of these congregations practice approximately 200 different religions and meet weekly across the country. This significant number of people gathering in at the same locations at specific times represents vulnerable targets to terrorists and other extremists. |
||
The welcoming atmosphere and “open door” policy of most religious facilities combined with unrestricted access to peripheral areas make security a challenging task. Additionally, the non-profit status of religious organizations often results in limited resources available for security. |
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Infrastructure Protection has designated religious facilities as a priority. Funds have been specifically allocated to help mitigate risks and reduce vulnerabilities. All religious facilities are eligible for the UASI Grant and security funding. In order to comply with funding requirements requesting organizations must demonstrate specific needs and present a cohesive implementation plan for the utilization of the funds to improve their security posture. This involves a lengthy application process that is based on the completion of an in-depth vulnerability analysis and threat assessment conducted by a professional security company.
Our grant management team has a proven track record of success assessing the risks and security needs of religious institutions and providing assistance and step-by-step guidance in applying for UASI grant funding from DHS. We have helped numerous institutions raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in US government funding and upgrade security.
